Camocc - Sent delle Trote

Here we are again with a route in our area, the Seriana Valley, we are in the Albino-Gazzaniga area to tackle a new and fun trail.

As always, some technical data: Distance: 26km - time on the move: 2.30 hours - total elevation gain: 980m - maximum elevation: 1150m - cyclability: 100% - suitable for MTB AM/ENDURO.

Starting from Fiorano, we ride the usual climb, now tackled in several routes, that will take us to Ganda.

For those who have been following us for a while, it is a mostly paved climb, with an even gradient, except for the initial stretches (2km) where we find a fairly steep incline.

After passing the villages of, first Orezzo, then Platz, we reach Ganda, a hamlet of Aviatico.

If you are in a hurry you can opt to start the descent immediately, otherwise we recommend, as we did, to reach the Ganda antennas, from where you can enjoy an excellent view.

The ascent to the antennas has nothing challenging, it is about 50m of elevation gain on a cemented road; once at the summit we retrace the road through the meadows, or, we retrace the same sections until we reach the first of the two descents, the Camocc trail.

We swoop down at speed on a beautiful single track, very flowing, mainly on dirt, with a few fast curves, a really fun and affordable trail, the only downside: in no time we find ourselves in Amora.

Reaching the village we ride for 15 minutes on a paved road that leads to Ama, where the second and longer descent begins.

We find a fairly technical first section with high gradients; you will often see more than one route, don't worry, they all lead to the same point; it is up to you to choose the one best suited to your abilities; even the apparently easier ones are not at all trivial, on the contrary!

Having lost the first few hundred meters of elevation gain, the trail becomes easier and faster, but not to be underestimated; a few technical hairpin bends will test our skills.

Reaching the village Bondo di Albino we travel a few kilometers on paved roads to reach our starting point.
