Description
Long and hard ride on the Assietta road going up from Depot. I tried to avoid asphalt, in fact even the descent from Sestriere all on dirt road is quite tiring.
Technically easy tour, it is almost all roads and a few trails.
Highest point Mount Ciantiplagna 2849 mt.
From the pian dell'Alpe before the colle delle Finestre in Sestriere, there is no water anywhere
The climb from Depot to Ciantiplagna is very long but with a steady gradient after many ups and downs .
It is a long high mountain road with no shelter in case of rain.
