I 136 TORNANTI SUL LAGO D'IDRO ED IL MONTE STINO

AMTBmust in the Lago D'Idro and Monte Stino area where you can stop before the descent to the Refuge. We are talking about the mythical trail of 136 hair pinbends where you will try your hand at a series of hairpin bends to do some with the nose press ( not mandatory ) and learn how to steer your "baby".

Departure from Vantone (BS) we ascend towards Passo San Rocco by mule track with some intense points and a short stretch on asphalt. Once in Zumiè ( 960 m ) the last stretch of ascent to the Monte Stino refuge located at 1,410 m begins. I recommend stopping at the Monte Stino refuge to refresh yourself with some delicious food prepared by the managers. We now continue to the vantage point with a sheer view of the Eridio. Having taken the ritual photo, the descent begins, which will be very beautiful and trust me at the end, after at least 40 minutes in the saddle, you will be satisfied. This descent is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe and is always popular with hikers on foot as well. Maximum attention and always give them the right of way. Final footbridge and back to the starting point.
