La forra e il Monte Bestone

Here we are with a truly spectacular non-extreme and especially scenic tour that will take you to one of the five most beautiful viewpoints in #garda via the famous gorge road, built in 1913 and called the most beautiful road in the world but also the eighth wonder.

We start from the port of Campione del Garda and climb up through the old road. We pass the Forra carved into the rock and continue to Voltino where the final part of the tough but short ascent will begin, with a push section, to the summit of Monte Bestone, which we will reach after stroking its ridges to the east. From the summit spectacular panorama we descend then detour to the trail with hairpin bends all doable. We will now head toward Villa, Voiandes, Sompriezzo, Ponti, Priezzo via an up & down trail out of the chaos. Arriving at Pieve we will be able to admire the thrill square and then, after the ritual photos, descend back to the gorge and then to the car at the starting point.
